Global sportswear brand Reebok<\/strong> has firmly denied reports circulating in Israeli media that it requested the removal of its logo from the jerseys of Israel\u2019s national football teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speculation had suggested the company wanted to distance itself from the Israel Football Association (IFA) by removing its branding from official kits. However, Reebok has strongly rejected these claims, calling them \u201csimply not true.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A spokesperson for the company emphasized Reebok\u2019s role in uniting communities through sport rather than engaging in political disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReebok is proud of our record as a unifier of all cultures on and off the pitch. We don\u2019t do politics; we do sport,\u201d the spokesperson stated, adding that the company, alongside its local licensee, remains committed to its partnership with the IFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IFA also confirmed there would be no changes to the arrangement. According to the federation, Israel\u2019s national teams will continue to wear Reebok-branded kits in international competitions as previously agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The denial comes amid heightened attention to sportswear deals involving Israel\u2019s national team. In late 2023, German sportswear manufacturer Puma<\/strong> ended its sponsorship, a decision the company said had been made as early as 2022. That move had fueled speculation around other international brands and their future ties with the IFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, however, Reebok has made its position clear\u2014its logo will remain proudly displayed on Israel\u2019s national football jerseys, underscoring its commitment to sport over politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
