Nigeria\u2019s Super Eagles produced a dominant and well-organised display to overcome Algeria 2\u20130 and secure a semi-final place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The quarter-final encounter once again highlighted Nigeria\u2019s growing confidence and tactical maturity at AFCON 2025, as the Super Eagles controlled proceedings from start to finish against a resilient Algerian side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening exchanges were cautious, with both teams showing respect for each other\u2019s quality. Algeria attempted to slow the tempo, while Nigeria remained patient, circulating the ball and waiting for openings.
