The Spring Breakout Games are a wonderful idea, but there always has to be someone to come in and ruin it for everyone else. Those “someones” this year were the pitchers from the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, who combined for 27 walks and 422 pitches thrown in their Breakout game, which ran three hours and 40 minutes and had fans begging for the sweet release of death, or at least an early end if either team ran out of pitchers.
