UEFA has officially announced that Madrid and Warsaw will host the 2027 Champions League finals, with Spain set to stage the men’s competition and Poland chosen for the women’s.
The men’s final will be played at the Estadio Metropolitano, home of Atlético Madrid. The iconic venue last hosted the final in 2019, when Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur to lift the trophy.
On the women’s side, the Polish National Stadium in Warsaw will welcome Europe’s best teams for the 2027 showpiece, further highlighting the city’s growing role in hosting top-level football.
The announcement came following UEFA’s Executive Committee meeting in Tirana, where European football’s governing body also discussed ongoing debates surrounding proposals from LaLiga and Serie A to stage domestic league matches abroad. No final decision has been made on that issue.
This marks another significant step in European football’s calendar planning, ensuring that iconic cities across the continent continue to host the sport’s most prestigious events.
